Black Water Sands Asset Management operates blackwatersands.com. This notice describes the personal information this website collects, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• The name, email address, organisation, and message you submit on the contact form.
• Technical data written in server logs when you load a page, including your IP address, browser, and the time of the request. The host keeps these logs for security.

We do not run analytics on this site, and we do not ask you to create an account.

Why we use it

We use the form contents to read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of that correspondence. The legal basis, where a privacy law requires one, is our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us. You can object, or ask us to delete the correspondence, by emailing hello@blackwatersands.com.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the Turnstile check on the form.
• SendGrid carries the form message to our mailbox.
• Google Workspace holds the mailbox that receives it.

We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept for as long as we need it to deal with the enquiry and to hold a record of what was said. Log data is kept for the period set by the host. You can ask for a copy of your correspondence, a correction, or deletion, at hello@blackwatersands.com.
